Trigger Issue - And/Or drop down doesn't open and IF drop down is blank

I am starting to wonder if I created that Helpdone trigger years ago and don't remember..perhaps I have to create a new helpdone trigger myself....hmmmm

The variable you're referencing "Helpdone" is definitely a custom variable! So you'd want to make sure there is an initial value already associated with it, and adjust that based on your triggers. 

Also, did you update this SL2 file to SL360, or create it from scratch? 

If you're still running into odd behavior could you share the .story file? Even just a few slides with that trigger would help us properly test it!

Let's tackle the variables issue first. You mentioned you should see HelpDone and results slide variables like Result.PassPercent in the dropdown. What do you see when you open the variables list? Are those variables listed there?

In regards to grouped objects, there isn't a way to ungroup by right-clicking the group in the timeline. You can ungroup a set of grouped objects by clicking the Format tab >> Group >> Ungroup, or by right-clicking the group on the slide stage. 

This was a new one from scratch, so I think that is why I thought Helpdone was from a bank of articulates...that tells you how long ago I must have created that variable that I assumed it was yours....so I think it is okay now.  And I assume I will see the Result variables if I add a results slide...so I think I was having a memory lapse.  Thank you for responding.

Thanks Alyssa re: the Ungroup and Group, I was so sure I could highlight and right click before....my memory is going.    As for your images re: variables, I think like Ashley said the Helpdone is custom which means I must have built it so long ago I assumed it was articulates...As for the ResultsPass variables, do they only show in the drop down if you have a Results slide, you will see in my attachment that my IF dropdone is blank, I thought those always showed, but perhaps they only show if I have that slide in my project, and I haven't gotten there yet.  You can tell it has been a while since I did one from scratch, I often save off of one of my old ones and so I think that is why often stuff is showing that I just now assume was always there...does that make sense.  So I think I am okay now, if Results variables only show if there is a results slide...

You're spot on, Teresa! That's right--the Results variables will only appear in the dropdown list if you have a results slide somewhere in your course.
