Trigger Not Displaying
Jul 04, 2021
Hello all. I have a trigger that has been applied that jumps to the next slide when the timeline starts on a slide so it will not stay on this slide even when you choose to the Back button. Not sure how I did this unintentionally but this trigger is not displaying in the Triggers pane. I only see it when I hover over the arrows in the scenes pane so I know it is there but only on one slide. I tried creating a new slide but it applies the same trigger so I believe that is a clue. Any thoughts on how to locate and remove this hidden trigger?

I think it is a bug have seen few times recently if you hover over in story view until it gets a pink highlight. Right click and choose disconnect.
Hello Esther, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
If you still have a sample file displaying this behavior, I'd be happy to take a look. You can share it publicly here or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Thank you so much! That did it. I appreciate the prompt reply with assistance.
Thanks Leslie. Will do if that issue returns.
I am dealing with this bug now. Is there a solution? The hidden triggers multiply if you copy/paste the slide as well
Thanks for reaching out, Leigh, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ⭐️

Hi all!
Great news! We released a new update for Storyline 360 today. In Update 54 (Build 3.54.25674.0), we fixed the bug where when duplicating question slides or importing them from a template, a hidden trigger could get added to the slides, causing them to be skipped in the published output.
Now all you need to do is update Storyline 360 in your Articulate 360 desktop app! If you run into any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out for help in this discussion or a support case.
