On Slide A I have a trigger that is set to change a state of button 1 if variable X is changed. If I change it on this slide, everything works perfectly.
But I actually have Slide B that changes variable X. When I return to Slide A, the state of Button 1 has not changed. The closest I can figure is that the trigger in Slide A only monitors when variable X changes on Slide A, not across the project.
I'm racking my brain for a solution and keep coming up short.

After submitting my question the answer popped up in my feed. :/ go figure.
it seems I have to set a trigger to start on slide start with a condition.

I would think there is an easier way, but this works too.
