I'm trying to show the label text of a marker when the timeline reaches a certain time, and close it after a few seconds. Tried to use a trigger to change the state of the marker to selected/down/hover but nothing works, at least in the preview. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
I suggest saving a bunch of time. Use a text box to show the text, and set it to show up and disappear at a certain time on the timeline.
If you must have a click on/hover over marker for the user to come back to it, create a marker that shows at the point in the timeline when the text box disappears.
I have been using the trick of simply saving the open marker text as an
image and pasting it.
It's really clumsy.
What I don't understand is why the trigger commands show the option to
trigger the marker and still it doesn't works. It doesn't make sense. I
thought they had implemented the capability.

Hi Marcos
there are two parts to a marker - the marker icon and the label. The triggers refer to the marker options - there are no triggers for the label. The object is the marker

Still don't understand why the options "hover/selected". A selected marker
would open the label.
Because currently the label is not an object and open label is not an action available in the triggers list. You could submit a feature request.
