I have a layered slide that needs to be accessed from multiple slides within a scene or course. I want to set a trigger on the slide using a marker that will return the learn to the point in the course where he/she diverged for learning/review. How can I set the a trigger so that it returns to the slide that it was accessed from?
For example 1.4, 1.12 and 2.8 need to reference this scene and then the learner needs to return to the point, 1.4, 1.12 and 2.8, in the course/module after viewing/reviewing the resource.
P.S. use of this scene is optional not conditional.
You want the learner to return the their previous slide and resume where they were before clicking the reference slide, correct? You can use the "Jump to slide" trigger to direct them back to the slide they started at using variables.
When the user jumps to the reference from slide 1.4, set (jumpfrom) variable to 1. then upon return, they will jump to 1.4 on condition that (jumpfrom) variable =1.
Make a different variable value for each slide they can jump from.
Thanks, Emily, for this explanation, and for the simple-but-effective demonstration. I came to the Heroes site just now looking for exactly this issue. Very helpful.

Attached is a file with a basic set up of this.
