Triggered state change issues

Feb 05, 2016

Hello,

I am new to Storyline, and am attempting to create a drag and drop quiz.  I currently have 5 triggered state changes associated with one "correct drop" location.  I can't get it to trigger a state change for the 6th one.  Is there a limit to the number of state changes for 1 drop spot or is there something that I am overlooking?  (the first 5 drag and drop state changes work great)

Thank you!

Hi, Cathy -- Thanks for reaching out with your questions! Would you be able to share your file here so we can take a closer look, please?

And it may not be exactly what you have in mind, but perhaps you want to take a look at these resources:

Drag and Drop with state changes

Hope that helps! :)

Hello Christie,

Here is the scene that I am working on. I want to be an interactive drag and drop to help new team members lean the sandwich builds...

thank you for your assistance!

Hi, Cathy -- Thanks so much for your reply! Unfortunately, as it appears that you have replied via email, the attachment you intended to share did not come through to your forum post to be accessible.

Options to share include: From within your post, all you'd need to do is click on the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box and upload from there. This is a great option if you'd like the community to have the opportunity to weigh in, as well. :)

OR, if you would prefer to work directly with a member of our Support Engineering Team, here is the form you would need. The choice is yours!

Please also note, when you reply via email, anything in your email signature is visible publicly in your post. It looks like a confidentiality notice is all that came through, but I wanted to let you know for future reference.

In build mode, click on the roast beef, then hover over the two states. then do the same thing with the two cheeses and you'll see the problem.

The beef's dropped correct state is right where the beef is, while the dropped correct states of the cheeses are way below them. When you drag the cheeses down to the bread, the dropped correct state shows way below the slide.
