Did you change the slide property settings?

If a multiple change is needed you can do that from Story View.  Ctrl A to select all the slides then go to the Slide Properties and make the change.

I second Walt's question about the current settings on your slide properties:

If all looks well, then with your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Thank you all for your reply I had forgotten about the By User Button.  And used Wendy's advice to change multiple slides with Ctrl A.

It was working fine before and changed after the update so I assumed that was the cause.

Sorry to have bothered you with what was a basic problem.
