Hi Inez! really sorry you ran into this trouble. Let's tackle each of the issues you're seeing.
Triggers need to be reassigned: I haven't seen this happen after updating Storyline. Did this only happen on one slide? Did the layers disappear?
Preview Mode isn't filling the entire browser: The thin white line you're seeing on the right edge of the slide is a bug in Storyline 360 and Storyline 3. Our team is looking into ways we can resolve this issue. As soon as we have a fix in place, we'll let you know!
Yes, the base layer slide, where I captured the image. And, no, the layers are still there. Are the triggers supposed to display "unassigned" on the base layer? I don't remember that being the case prior to the update.
About Preview Mode, my question isn't about the thin white line. Rather it's about the size of the player. Prior to the update, the player would fill my browser window. Now it appears to lock it at a specific size. I want it to fill the browser window in Preview Mode.
No, the triggers should not display "unassigned" on the base layer. Did that happen on all of your slides, or just this one slide?
Thanks for clarifying what you're seeing in preview mode. As long as your player properties are set to "scale player to fill browser window," the player will scale up in the browser after publishing your file. You won't see the scaling in Storyline preview.
It happened on the base layer slide and the layers attached to the base layer.
I'm positive my projects filled the window in Preview Mode before I updated. So, I asked a coworker who hasn't upgraded to preview one of her projects and it filled her window in Preview Mode.
It sounds like we need to do a deeper dive into this. Would you mind sharing a sample of the file with our team? That way we can view it using an older update of Storyline 3, and compare that to the current update of Storyline 3.
