Triggers automatically copying

I'm having a weird issue with a main menu I have never seen before. I have a menu of six groups. By clicking on each group takes you to a different scene. I've done this with groups before without a problem. What is happening now is if I apply the trigger to say Group 1 to jump to its corresponding scene the trigger gets copied the all of the groups. If I change one trigger on any group it changes them for all. Totally weird and I have no idea what is going on.

Hi Mike,
Would you be able to share your .STORY file here or send it to us by submitting a Support case?
10-4. On it's way via the support case link.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for sending your file along. I saw Sid replied to you, and he's taking a look at your file. I'll also follow along too!
Hi Mike,
It looks like Sid asked you to complete a repair of your Storyline software, and that should solve the issue. Let us know if you need anything else!
All of a sudden I am having this problem. If I add a trigger to one object it copies to the other objects on the page. HELP, please!!! I just reinstalled SL-3 and it's still doing it :(.
Oh no, Sylvia! I'm sure that's been frustrating -- let's see how I can help!
Reinstalling Storyline 3 was a great first move, but I'm sorry to hear that didn't solve the issue. Can you tell me more about your setup?
Alyssa, I got it solved...total designer error...ugh!!! THANKS!!!
LOL, happens to all of us, Sylvia. No worries. 😀
I'm having the same issue too. So frustrating. I've re-created my menu 5 times now with the same result. I've tried deleting the triggers and re-adding them. No luck. They just keep copying to all of the rest of the menu options.
Here's a screenshot of what's happening.
I just tried to completely re-create the slide as well. Same result.
Hi, Tara. So sorry you're hitting that copying snag!
I see you're already knee-deep in troubleshooting with Jonathan on our Support Team – you're in great hands! Thanks for continuing to work through this oddity with us, and I apologize for the headaches. I'll follow along in the case to share important updates here, as needed!
Hi, I am having the same problem, could you just tell me what to do to correct this
Hey Sandra! Happy to lend a hand!
Each of the cases in this discussion are unique, and most of the issues were caused by the way objects are copied and pasted on the slide.
Would you mind sharing a copy of your slide with us so we can take a closer look at what's happening on your end?
Hi, thanks for your help but I have sorted it, I was adding triggers to each button individually and should have added all the same button if that makes sense

Ashley,
This might be a good subject for next year's Articulate Users Conference :)...I DOOOO hope you all do it again (2 days next year)!
Aw, so glad you enjoyed it Sylvia! I've heard a lot of great feedback on the User Conference, so I'll let the team know you'd like to see this as a topic with extended days.
I am having the same issue. What was the fix?
I was having triggers duplicate 2 and 3 times when I copied from one object to another - I saved, closed and re-opened the file and it hasn't done it since. SL 360 v3.27.18220
