OK, so I'm being brave and creating my first Storyline.
In it I have a character that I want to change poses while standing in front of the same background. I've figured out how to hide the first pose but haven't figured out how to hide the second pose that should appear when a button is clicked.
I put together a quick example, click here to check it out. Is this what you're wanting to do? If so, what you'll want to do is select the character, change the initial state to hidden and apply a trigger to the button that changes the character's state from hidden to "Normal".
I'm attaching my example, as well, if you'd like to see how I set this up.

That's almost it and i think it will help me. What I want to do is swap the pose of teh female to a different pose. But I think the process will be the same. I just have to change the initial state of the second pose.
Great I'm glad to hear that will help. What you could do for the original character is add just another trigger to that button that changes her or his pose. You can have quite a bit of these triggers on the same button (as you can see I used it to change the states of the second character and the captions).
