Go into your timeline and drag the object so its start time is at the 30-sec mark. That should do the trick! =)
Oh, and if you want the video to restart every time the learner visits the slide, make sure you set the Slide Properties to "Reset to Initial State (on revisit)".
If that doesn't work or it's not what you meant, just shout out.
Because the user may pause the video or restart this video using the video controls. If they do pause it then my object will still show up at 30 seconds but not show up when then video is on 30 secs. I'm wondering if there is a way to link the video time to the timeline.
That doesn't quite work because I am adding 'Show video controls'. So if a person goes forward and back on the video this wouldn't work. I was hoping there would be some way of adding a trigger whenever the video clicks to 30 secs. Even if the user does it like 4 times in row. Storyline probably doesn't support this right?

Hi Sam! Looks like Leslie is taking care of you here
Sorry I wasn't totally clear on this.

Hi Sam! Would some thing like the example below assist you?

Hi Sam! You can also check out these two threads here and here to see if that may help.
If you would like to submit a feature request about the use of video based triggers, you may do so here.
I think its imposible in Articulate to use a triger to control time in video. Only slider but in base slide.
Hi Johny!
Looks like you asked a similar question here and Ashley has reached out to assist.
