I have a slide in Storyline 2 in which the timeline is set to pause at a certain point, the user is to click on (3) separate images to visit (3) separate layers, and then the timeline is to resume.
A variable has been set (with a default of false) to ensure all layers are visited. When the variable is changed to true, the timeline will resume. This functions as intended in preview, but not in "story_html5" published output; the timeline will pause, then resume after I have visited (1) layer.

I think I have my answer, actually. it appears to be an issue specific to "...html5," like video-group orientation; it is working in the "story" file.
