Triggers, Variables, States - activate button issue
Apr 02, 2014
I have created the slide below. the slide giving my problems is the first one (1.1).
I need the learners to review each of the layers before they move forward. They must click on transparent rectangle to open the layers. they then click on a marker to close the layer. once they have view all the layers the next marker should appear and allow them to click next.
I have done this 2 ways and it has not worked.
FIRST - states
Initial State of rectangles is DISABLED
When audio end change state of rectangle to NORMAL
When user clicks rectangle change state to VISITED
Show layer when user clicks rectangle
Change state of marker to normal when timeline ends IF rectangle... is equal to visited
SECOND - variables (variable is set to false)
Initial State of rectangles is DISABLED
When audio end change state of rectangle to NORMAL
LAYER
Set variable equal to true when the timeline starts
Hide this layer when user clicks marker
Change state of marker to normal when timeline ends IF variable...is equal to true
Hope you can help

hi zara maybe this could help.
also you should lock the menu as the user can move ahead by clicking the menu
do not forget to verify answer
Why did it work for you and not for me. is it because of the states and triggers?
please note I have added extra triggers that you haven't added
why does hide objects on base layer affect this?
