Trouble previewing projects
Nov 25, 2016
Hi all,
I'm experiencing problems with previewing my project and am wondering if anyone else has had the same issues? When I click preview (or publish), I get an error report saying something went wrong with articular storyline and it might close. This is the only project it happens with as I can preview other projects. Could there be a problem within my project that anyone knows how to identify and fix?
Thanks in advance,
Tracey

Yes, all three variables.
Thanks for the tip. What do you mean by re-verify the variables?

Hi Tracey!
I'm not sure what Ayoub was referring to, but if you need to share your .story file we could take a look.
I also wanted to mention that replying to the forums via e-mail attaches your signature. You are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
I am having this exact same problem. I have spent a ton of time on this project and losing it will set me waaaaaaaaaaaaay back.
I have variables in this project. Please help!
Hi Diane!
Thanks for reaching out! I've taken a look at your project and found the issue was with the Isabel character on slide 1.16. It had an extra state you were not using in the triggers, so I removed and reinserted the character. The project now previews and publishes without any error.
Take a look at the file and let me know if this helps!

Hi Rene,
I'm sorry to hear you're running into some frustration while trying to preview your course! It looks like you have an untitled blank scene that won't allow you to move forward.
In story view, remove the untitled scene and then preview your course. This should help as the triggers in the other slides look correct!
