Is there some super secret trick to making hot spot quiz questions work? Everything seems to be in order, yet when I preview, no matter where I click, I get the error message for incorrect answer. Here are both the slide view and the form view. Any use in just deleting the slide and starting over? Thanks!
Could it be that I changed features of the shape of the hotspot. I removed the border and gave it "no fill." You have to do that in Captivate or those things will be visible. It seems that one does not need to remove the border or change the fill/transparency in StoryLine - the hot spot area will automatically be invisible to learners, right?

Correct - it looked like the greyish background you had might be overlaying the images - see my comment above. If so, anywhere they click on that will be 'incorrect' as they are not touching the actual image.

Are you using a custom submit button or the player submit button?
I'm using the player submit button.

Thanks, Wendy! I just remade that slide. I was sure not to mess with the border or transparency of the hot spot area, and it works fine now.
Glad you got it sorted Christine and all the best with your project.
