I am trying to change the state of a shape to be transparent to see some text underneath it, this works fine for the shapes, however I cannot delete the text in the shape in states. Any work arounds welcome.
I've never had that problem. I just selected the text and hit delete. If you have problems again you could always replace it with another shape the same size and colour, but without text.
There is a known issue with deleting text from states of objects. This has been reported to the QA team, and I will share here once there is a fix. A workaround would be to replace the text with a space, or just remove the item from the state, and insert a new item with no text.

That did not work for me, everytime I deleted the text in the transparent state it just reappeared. Any ideas?
