Troubles with triggers in preview

Hoping you can help me. I've created triggers to disable the next button until audio completes. When I preview slides separately, everything works fine. But when I preview the whole show, only the initial slide behaves appropriately. Others do not.
Can an you help me with this? Again triggers on slides are identical across the slides and they work when only previewing one slide. But when I preview whole show, triggers only work on first slide.
Thanks! Mary

I`m guessing here, but do you use a variable to `disable` the Next until the audio completes? If yes, and if you use the same variable for all slides, make sure that you reset the variable when each slide`s timeline starts.
I DO use a variable like the video/tutorial: http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/how-to-disable-the-next-button-until-users-finish-interacting-with-a-slide
So I think you're probably correct. If so, can you help me understand how to "reset the variable when each slide's timeline starts?"
I'm REALLY a newbie, so grateful for the hand-holding! And thanks so much for getting back so quickly too! Look forward to your continued help.
Can you upload your file (or a portion of it) so that we can have a closer look?
