Trying to prevent web object from launching browser

Not sure if anyone is experiencing this, but I have loaded an outside website as a web object in one of my slides. When I get to this slide the website shows within the slide with scroll bars for about 3 seconds, then suddenly launches a browser tab with the website.
Clicking the back button takes me back to my slide where it asks me if I would like to resume where I left off. If I say Yes, it once again loads the web object for about 3 seconds and then launches a browser with the website, ending up in a circular pattern unable to advance to the next slide.
How can this be corrected?

Hi Bill,
What settings have you included for the web object? Are you setting it to display in the slide?
Also, does this occur in all browsers or just a particular one? It's behavior I haven't seen/heard before, but if you're able to share here we'd be happy to take a look. If you're unable to share the Storyline course here with us, I can send you directions to share with me privately.
Hi Ashley,
Yes, I did have the display in slide set.
I tested it in IE 10 and it doesn't load. I tried it again in Google Chrome and it launches a separate window.
I would be happy to share it with you, I can not recreate the problem, but it seems I have new problems. I would like to share it with you privately if that's okay.
Thank you!
Hi Bill,
Thanks for the additional information. I just sent along information on how to share your project files with me privately.
Hi Ashley,
Here is the file that is having the problem.
Thanks for your help!
Hi Bill, there seems to be something in the page's HTML code that causes it 'pop out' of the webobject's frame. I tried to embed the URL in an iframe in a separate page and even tried to embed the URL in a video object, with no success. I'm stumped...
Hi Michael, Thanks for trying. I'm stumped too. Maybe the last update to Storyline created unexpected bugs.
Hi Bill,
I tested this as well, and if it's something within the website's HTML code as Michael mentioned, that would not be something within Storyline. I see htat you also have it set up on the slide before using a button to open it in a new window and that one works as expected for me.
