If you have published for the Articulate Mobile Player, and access a link to the course while on your iPad you'll be able to have that saved into your library within the Articulate Mobile Player.
Publishing a project in the Public Folder in DropBox always works well for me. Courses published here and accessed via their story.html files pull up in the Articulate Mobile player, as Ashley mentioned before. Before publishing, be sure to check the box for 'downloading for offline viewing' for quick and easy access in the future.

Thanks Phil for helping Lawrie out here.
Thanks Phil,
So to be clear, I cannot put the file onto the iPad?

Lawrie

the iPad has no user accessible file system so you must host the content somewhere
