Turn off auto add Layer Triggers

Hello there,

Every time I make a change to a quiz through the "Edit QuizType" button, two Layer Triggers get added to each Layer slide: Hide layer.... and Jump to...

I have to go back and delete these every time from each layer whenever I make a change to the quiz or even if I make no change they still get added as long as I click a "Edit Quiz Type" button.

Is there a way to turn this off?

Hi Nick. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

I believe replacing the triggers to the layers is by design. However, if you do end up in a situation where you've deleted the triggers and opened the Quiz options, you may be able to undo the replacement by pressing CTRL+Z. This may only work if you've just removed those triggers prior to option the Quiz options, however.

Also, the "Save and Close" option seems to prompt this. So, another option would be not to use this option if you haven't made any changes you want to save. Just click on the red "X" in the upper right-hand corner.

I'm not aware of any methods that would keep these triggers from being added on the layers when the quiz has been modified. If you'd like to see an option for this in the future, please consider sharing a feature request.
