Tutorial mode in simulation - is it possible with new jump to time trigger?

Hi all,
I have been working on a management dashboard simulation and I want to provide a 'tutorial mode' to guide learners when they are starting out with the simulation. The button they need to click will flash green to show them where they should go next.

I have achieved this by having a layer with the button in the tutorial state and switching between the main slide and the layer (so it will not flash when they come back and it is not relevant any more).
Having read about the new jump to time trigger I can't help feeling there is a more elegant way to achieve this. Has anyone found a way?
Many thanks for your help on this.
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Happy to help here! It looks like you're on the right track of using a layer to show the highlighted object!
I think you can achieve what you're looking for with the steps laid out in this discussion:
I've also attached your file with the edits to the first slide to get you moving. Take a look and see if it will work for you!
Hi Ren,
Thanks for the guidance! It does look good, I will have a play around.
Having hide and show layer triggers both on the layer seems a bit counter intuitive to me, but I see that having a jump to 0s when timeline ends trigger has the same effect.
Thanks again for your help

Hi,
An update on this. I have been using the jump to cue point trigger to allow a tutor to talk them through things before the button flashes.

Once the timeline has ended and the button is flashing, the audio plays without interruption if it is restarted but the sound playing icon no longer works properly even though I have linked it to the audio completing, presumably something to do with the jumping to cue point.
Can any advise on how to stop this icon switching when the audio is still playing?
Thanks,
Daniel
Hi Daniel!
Thank you for sharing your project! I've added additional triggers to make sure the slide behaves the same after it's already been viewed once.
Please take a look at let me know if you have additional questions!
