I had found this one, but I'm having trouble working with what I am trying to accomplish. Maybe I shouldn't be using Slide Masters. Or more likely I need a better understanding of how to add background colors, fonts, etc. to slide masters.
My organization wants to create templates for our presentations, based on the intended audience. We need consistent colors, fonts, etc. This would seem to be a job for slide masters, but right now all I'm able to do is take a previous demonstration in Storyline & use it as the base for the new ones.
This might be a job for templates, but I think you are on the right track; recycling a previous presentation that is exactly what you want is the easiest and biggest time saver I know. Recycling means you don't have to learn new skills (like how to use masters and templates), and brings in everything at once, whereas masters and templates have limitations.

Thank you, Walt!
It's encouraging to hear I haven't been wasting my time.
Walt, you mention Templates. I hadn't thought of that!
Brilliant! Thank you! I'll put all my slide layouts into a new presentation and save as a template!
Thank you, again!
