Tutorials with project files? Learning storyline
Mar 30, 2021
I’m looking for tutorials where I can follow along with video clips and instructions to build projects.
I found this overview video:
https://community.articulate.com/series/storyline-360-getting-started
but it’s just a video and without the project files I can’t really follow along.
And I found there were other videos after that but just videos. Not tutorials that I can actually follow along and build something with.
I did find some mentions of this type of material for storyline 2 in the forums but I presume that’s now outdated.
Does this exist? I’m looking for something akin to the Adobe Classroom In A Book series where there’s a digital book with tutorial files, numbered lessons, lesson files with assets provided, and at the end of each lesson you build something.
willing to pay a little bit of money if anyone has a paid resource <$100. But I don’t have the hundreds or thousands of dollars to do a course led by a live instructor. Plus I learn better with self directed learning.

Check out the training site, David does a lot of the webinars and includes the source files.
We also took all of the older tutorials that had smaller practice files and put them into one long video. You can use the bookmarks to jump to specific parts and find the practice files to download.
Got it thanks. I guess the webinars are more what I would call “tutorials”.

The link I sent was the older tutorials with practice files and we pulled them into one larger file so they wouldn't be lost.
The other webinars are more feature specific. If there's something that you're looking for, let us know.
So far, just an overview refresher. I haven't used the software in about 5 years, and am I'm very rusty.
The older overview tutorials are exactly what I'm looking for, thanks. I do wish they'd been left as separate videos, because if I miss somewhere and need to backtrack a few seconds, it's very hard to do that without jumping way out of place. Either that or I wish there was a jump pack 10 seconds button.
Navigation frustration aside, it's giving me what I need.
I figured out that I could download the video by right-clicking on it, so now I can play it in VLC and jump back easier.
