Two Issues

I am having two issues.
First, when I preview a slide it works fine i.e. the next button is disabled until the timeline completes. However, when I preview the project the slides do not perform this way.
Also, I set up a show layer trigger when user clicks next button but the slide is working off the timeline not when I click the next button.

Hi Erich
hard to say what's happening with the Next button without seeing your story file...do you have the menu set to 'restricted'. If so, you will need to wait until the timeline completes before clicking Next. If the timeline isn't dependant on audio/video, try reduicng the length of the timeline.
If you want to upload your .story file someone can take a look at the next button not enabling...it is likely caused by the trigger condition or trigger order.
I am new to the software and community. Where do I upload my file?
Hi Erich, this is a public forum so if you are ok to upload the content here just use the grey 'add attachment' button at the bottom of the post.
Unfortunately, I cannot upload my content here.
Strip out the proprietary material, and attach just the triggers and layers.

I figured it out. I found some older posts that described the solution. Thank you for the replies!
Glad to hear it Erich and thanks for the update! You are welcome to share the helpful links as it may be able to help another member that runs across this thread in the future. Great way to pay it forward :)
Here is the link I used to set-up my layer triggers.

The other issue was that I was trying to use the same variables for each slide instead of creating a new one for each slide completion.
Thanks again everyone!
Thanks Erich!
