I am trying to create two results slides for a storyline project that is just an exam. The first results slide has embedded google forms. Depending on their results, users are directed to a pass or fail form. The next results slide has the actual score and gives learners the ability to review the text.
I cannot get it to work perfectly. Before I put too much more time into this, I want to know, is it even possible?
Edited to add that I cannot get the score to appear on the second results slide when the learner has passed. Otherwise, my solution works perfectly....
Hi Lindsay. Yes, this is definitely possible. You can send a copy of your .story file if you want me to check it for you.
Here are some of the things you can do.
Link 2 result slides to the same question/s. Make sure you check the connection of the 1st slide after you add your 2nd slide. Storyline disconnects the 1st result slide when you add another one. Go to your result slide -> click Edit Result Slide -> make sure the relevant questions are checked.
Or add a regular slide after your results slide. You can reference any values from the result slide through variables. You can read more about them here.
Yes there is. Open the form view of your question. At the feedback area at the bottom, you can assign custom points for correct and incorrect answers. The default is 10 points per question.
You can even assign custom points for different choices on the same question. Just change the scoring option from by Question to By Choice.

Hi Richard,
Thank you. Solution #2 worked perfectly.
One more question: is there any way to change the weight of questions to adjust the score?
Thanks,
Lindsay
Hi Lindsay. I'm glad it worked for you.
