Hi, Mark! Sorry to know about this trouble. I can't replicate this on Storyline 3 but the file import has worked great on Storyline 360.

To hopefully isolate this issue, do you mind providing the details below?
Which PowerPoint version are you using?
Does this happen to your other .pptx files?

For now, it's best to make sure that all of your Articulate and PowerPoint files are saved on your local hard drive so you can avoid any erratic behavior - file corruption, inability to save changes you've made to your project, and loss of resources. Feel free to check this out for more information about this.

Just to further weigh in on this, I've found this article which lists lots of suggestions that I'm sure will be helpful to you.

Another seemingly quick fix is to update your Microsoft Office just like what happened here.

Cheers!

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the update and for letting us know that it's file-specific. I assume that you have your Office 365 installed locally on your hard drive and you're not using the online version, correct?

Similar to Luiza, I was able to import your file successfully as well.

I've attached the .story file from Storyline 3 so that you can proceed with any development while you troubleshoot your importing error by using the article shared above.
