I am trying just whatever imaginable option I can to import PPT files.
I am running Windows 10-64 bit. Power Point 2016 - 64 bit.
Computer has 8GB of RAM, Core i7. Plenty of disk space. All files stored locally. No embedded videos. I created a file with only one slide - no content, yet, not able to import. I see a lot of posts of people suffering to import PPT. Getting crazy. Could somebody help me?
Sorry you're hitting that roadblock! There are a number of reasons why the PowerPoint import might have failed. Do any of the suggestions in that link help?
If not, let me know what version of Storyline you're using, and we'll keep digging!
I have the same problem with Storyline 3. My PC is 64 bit Win 7 running Powerpoint 2013. I was able to import before but now I am unable to import any ppt or pptx, even if it's just one slide. Please help!
What happens when you try to import them, do you see an error message? If so can you take a screenshot of it? What version of Powerpoint are you using? Can you share one of your .ppt files with us here so that we can test it out as well?
You can share those items by clicking here and inserting them into a new discussion comment. Look for the Add Attachment button. Thanks!
I have tried various ppt files. It can even be a new one with one slide and it still would not work. So the problem is not the ppt file. I can two types of error messages typically. I have attached both. I am using PowerPoint 2013. Please help!
Thanks Walt. Even a simple ppt file won't import properly. See attached. I think you should have no problem importing this but I have. I have reinstalled Storyline 3 at least twice but I'm still getting the same problem.
You are correct. No issue importing your .pptx file that you have attached here.
I recommend taking a look at this article here as the issue may lie within your Powerpoint software vs Storyline 3, especially since you mentioned repairing a few times.
If you still experience difficulty, reach out to our team here so that we can take a deeper look.

Hi,
I have tried uploading PPTs (from local drive). However, it fails to import to articulate storyline.
I have purchased the licence last week only, PPT version is 2016. Kindly help resolve.

Malvika
