Thanks for the response. I am not seeing that option, Wipe, either. When I select the object and then animations I see Fade In, Grow, Fly In, Spin, or Spin and Grow. I just want to make sure that I am not missing that anywhere.
Are you using Storyline 1? If so, the wipe is not available, it is in SL2. Hopefully others may chime in with ideas on ways to make this effect work. Possibly the Fly In?

Hello Michael,
The Transition tab is only for slide to slide options. You may be able to use an animation, such as Wipe to achieve an "uncover" look.
