Ungraded Quiz Questions Not Appearing in Reports
Mar 18, 2014
Hello,
I have a SCORM 1.2 file that I’ve created in Storyline ’09. At the end of the file I have a quiz that was built in Quizmaker and imported into Storyline, and it contains a number of graded questions, followed by some ungraded questions that we use to collect feedback about the training.
We do the same thing with trainings that we build in Presenter ’09—a combination of graded and ungraded questions built in Quizmaker—but for some reason, the results of the ungraded questions that come from my file built in Storyline do not appear in our LMS (we use Saba 5.5) reports.
The graded question results do appear in the report, though, and both the graded and ungraded question results do appear in the report when the file was built with Presenter. I can confirm that the results of the ungraded questions are making it into the database, which leads me to believe that this is a problem with our LMS/report, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem, or if there’s something about ungraded questions in Storyline that makes them different from graded questions, and this is the reason our report isn’t pulling them out?
Thanks!

Do you have a results slide in storyline? Are the questions linked to the results slide? Are you publishing with tracking set to by results slide and have you selected the correct results slide?
Hi Phil,
I do have a results slide in Storyline, and am tracking using the quiz results, rather than slides viewed. All of the questions are in the same Question Bank, linked to the same results slide (my training has just 1 results slide), and that's the slide I've selected for tracking.
Hi Lindsey,
It may be that the LMS isn't able to report on the survey elements, but to confirm you could use a method described in this thread to publish to SCORM Cloud and then look to see where the survey information goes.
If you are using likert questions it is unlikely you will get anything meaningful
