Unresponsive course on iOS
May 04, 2020
Hi everyone,
We have a course, well a quiz, which is unresponsive for iOS users on iPhone and iPad.
The course launches, but on the second screen becomes unresponsive with a the loading dots continuously there. If you swipe up the loading dots go but the button with a trigger to jump to the next scene is also unresponsive.
This issue isn't present on a laptop or desktop.
Fixes I have tried:
- Published in Scorm and TinCan
- Replaced the trigger button
- Pointed the trigger to:
- Jump to next slide
- Jump to next scene
- Jump to specific slide
Our LMS provider has looked and confirmed there isn't an issue at that end.
Has anyone had a similar issue and know how to resolve?
Many thanks
James

Eureka...
The quiz has a timer on it...if I remove the timer you can progress now on iOS.
The quiz starts on slide 4, the first three slides are title and introduction slides. Does anyone know how I might still be able to get the timer to work when using a mobile device?
Thanks again
Hi James,
Thank you for reaching out!
How odd that the time is causing this. Quick question for you on your course setup:
If that is the case, what should help here is to add at least one player element to your course. Then the course should continue to work on iOS with the timer enabled.
Please keep us updated on this and let us know if you are hitting any snags!
