I've noticed (after updating) my project has changed without me changing anything.
It may seem minor, but its effect is serious.
Say, you have 3 Feedback boxes on a slide. All hidden. Based on previous slide choices, one of the 3 boxes will Change state of (let's say, "PrevChoice1") To state: Normal When: Timeline starts Object: (The slide).
Prior to Update 1. This was seamless, PrevChoice1 would load on the Feedback slide immediately.
Now, after Update 1, there is a brief lag. PrevChoice1 now shows after the slide timeline starts.
It works but kind of snaps in - doesn't fade nicely without a fade out and you get a fade out at the end of the timeline. Not sure if this will work for you.
Thanks David. Yeah, I was testing both. But still choppy. Removing the slide transition really hurts my end product experience (kinda an obvious statement). I can provide clients a solid app experience with those transitions.
I mentioned to Mike that this isn't a showstopper, but getting it back to how 1205.123 worked provides a smooth/seamless experience. I'd even say "jaw dropping" experience. But I'm probably by myself recreating ipad apps in SL though ha.

Hey, Ryan -
I'm not seeing the same delay on my side. Are you seeing a fluid transition here?
Thanks Steve! I'll test it out now...
I'm about to do a Screenr of this, but I'll have to stop crying so I'm intelligible...
No delay with yours Steve.
Well. It's because of a Slide Animation. Again, this is a new 'bug' after Update 1. See attached.
I'll reinstall Storyline 1.0 to get the effect I'm after... until this is fixed.
And there you go.
Could you do it with opposite logic? Make the object shown by default and hide it if the value doesn't match?
-- That is, if you're not done with it already
I'm done for the day... But I'll give "opposite logic" a try before I do ye olde uninstall / reinstall

@Articulate Staff - Is this a bug?
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for the heads up. We're looking into it & I'll let you know what we're able to determine.
Thanks Brian!
Curious to know if there is a fix or workaround here?
Hey Ryan -
The slide timeline doesn't start until it has been fully transitioned in. That's why you're seeing the delay.
The current workaround is to remove the slide transition or add a reverse trigger to hide a button when the timeline starts.

I'll tinker some more.
