Update 3 issues with HTML5 on Moodle

Jun 23, 2013

In my case there seems to be an issue with HTML5 on iPads output after update 3. None of the new or old (republished) projects seem to display content on Mobile Safari. They only show the player in Moodle on iOS. When I revert to update 2, the problem is solved.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Hi there Tim!

Stefano is right, it might be best to have us take a look at what's happening. Have you had a chance to send us your files? If so, can you share the case number with me?

If you haven't submitted a case yet, are you able to share one of the .STORY files you're working on? It'd be happy to take a look.

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

You can share the .STORY file and tell me which two output methods you're using and I can test them both. If you post only the output files, I won't be able to test it on my end. However, if you'd like, you can try sending all three to our support team. You'll be able to attach one file when you first submit the case. After the case is created, they can share a link with you that will allow you to upload multiple files directly to the case.

Whichever you decide to do is fine :) Just let me know.

Thanks!

Hi,

Has there been any developments on this? I went to Update 3 yesterday and am having the same issue.  Flash and HTML5 outputs work on Desktop PC, but nothing on iOS.  It tries to load but then I just get a grey screen, this is very similar to what I get when I try to play a Flash only output on iOS (which I know doesn't work).
