When trying to install 'Update 5' I receive a message that says 'Articulate is running - close and retry'. Articulate was not running, validated by viewing programs in task window (and subsequent reboot). Past updates have gone smoothly. Anyone else experience this?
Sorry to hear about the odd behavior you're experiencing, and what I would suggest next is to uninstall your current Storyline version, reboot your computer and then try to download and install update 5.
I'm hesitating because I can't afford to end up with this same message when trying to install from scratch, and end up with down time. (too many deadlines looming at the moment)
Do you have another tool in your bag other than the sledge hammer?

Hi Rick,
The other option would be a bit more involved, and still involves the uninstall but would also clear out all the traces of any problems within Storyline.
Let us know what you find after following those steps!
