I am updating my SL@ in the same way I've done many times: uninstall the current program, download an update file, execute...it gets through most of the install process and then reports "Error 80070643 - The Storyline installation folder contents appear to have been moved, renamed or deleted."

An update - a restart of my Parallels / Windows fixed it.
