Updated Dates

I am converting some old software simulation courses written in another product using a lot of scripting. One feature that we liked was that whenever the simulation required a date, the scripting code calculated one based on the current date. For example, the course might ask the person to enter a date 6 months ago, and it would automatically check for the correct value (6 months from today is July 28, 2013).
Is there a way to replicate that feature in a Storyline software simulation course?

You can use JavaScript to get the current date and a date x days into the future. here is a simple example: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl71_SL/Date/FutureDate/story.html. You can then format the date string into any format you need.
Thank you! That looks like it will work.
