Updating AICC Course in Server

Hi all,
We have several AICC courses in our company's server, and our IT is unable to figure out how to update the courses in the server. Our IT contact who previously did this is no longer with the company and they have no guidance.
In the past, we would send the published zip file to the IT contact, who would do something with it in the server. Then the course would be updated in our LMS - we did not have to reupload any files to the LMS.
Does anyone have any instructions for replacing/updating an AICC course in a server so the updated version plays in the LMS? IT will not grant me access o the server, so I have limited knowledge of what's going on behind the curtain.

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like instead of normally uploading a zipped file to your LMS, your organization uploads the zip output to a web server and then links it to the LMS? I'm curious as to how that's accomplished!
