We're creating a software training module. At one point, as a proof of performance, we'd like the user to take a screenshot of a particular screen in the software and paste it into an open-ended feedback box in Storyline. Is something like this possible?
Hi Lou. That's not behavior that's currently supported by Storyline.
One idea would be to use something like JotForm embedded as web object. Allison wrote this article about tracking courses without an LMS that covers using JotForm with Storyline. It might prove helpful to you.
Another idea: if your module is proctored or overseen by an instructor or supervisor, you might have more success/less user-support agony by including a short how-to video instructing learners on how to take a screenshot and email it to the proctor/instructor as a follow-up to the module. I realize this may not be a practical solution for a large volume of learners.
Hopefully others from the community can weigh in with their ideas as well.
