Upload published content to a website

Hi all,
We have recently published some elearning content and want to upload it to a website we have built using SiteGround as our web host and Wordpress as the software.
However we are struggling to get it uploaded to the site. When we use the upload media function it uploads all the files from the published folder individually but errors on a lot of them with the error message "Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons"
We've contacted Siteground help but currently the only suggestion we have been given is to add some html code into a config file of wordpress. Before we do this I just wanted to see if anyone in the community has any ideas or if anyone has come across this?
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated

Hi,
I used this wordpress plugin to upload my files and show them on my wordpress site. I only use the trial version and it works fine. If you want to link directly to your uploaded story html file, you can use the link from your host sites webstorage.
