Uploaded audio files in slide layers, upload extending length

Hello,

When uploading audio files into slide layers (base layer is not encountering this issue), the length is extending from 10-30 seconds out to 21002 seconds per file. I am using Audacity to cut and edit pre-recorded audio down for the layers. Opening the exported MP4 files separately and playing them in Audacity, WMP, and other tools, the files play at their normal length. However, there is an additional click sound at the beginning of each, that was not present in the original audio file. I am at a loss as to why this is occurring when loading them into Storyline 3. Any help would be appreciated.
