I am trying to add my html to my google site and have read several of the discussions however none seem to work for me. When I move my html file into google it turns it into a doc of just code, if I try to embed this code into my site it gives me the dots of death on my eLearning course screen....
I cannot use FTP only publish to web and save to my desktop...

Are you trying to use Google Drive to host your published content?
Google no longer allows web pages to be hosted on Google Drive, but check out these other hosting options you can use instead.
Let me know if one of those options would work for you!
