I have had this problem consistently with all of my Storyline 1 files. Since I've upgraded to Storyline 2, whenever I open the S1 files I have to convert them to S2. That is fine, except that a large number of the animation timings change to 4:00. This happens for both entrance and exit animations. I must go through every animation on every slide and layer to make sure the timings are set correctly before I can proceed. Has anyone else run into this issue? Any solution?
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would you be able to provide an SL1 file so we can upgrade it to SL2 and test it, please? Also, just so you have it readily available, here is some info on Upgrading to Storyline 2. In the meantime, could you also try a few few things to rule out some common errors? Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline.
What were they initially set at in Storyline 1 vs. what you're seeing in Storyline 2? I'd be happy to take a look at one of the SL1 .story files to see how it's behaving.
