I have been facing this issue from a long time now, is there a way the caption in the view and the try mode capture the correct information from the screen. In my case it just shows "Click input Capture window" on all the captions when i am capturing a SAP on my system. However if i capture something on Excel it gives me screen info on the captions. Why So?
This is really urgent as i have a deliverable planned. Priority help needed.

I think this is because applications like excel that run locally all report their function when screen recording, web based tools run through a typically do not.
You can of course go in and edit the individual caption to show what it should
Browsers like Chrome communicate very little information to the Windows Accessibility API, which is how Articulate Storyline collects information for screen recordings. In addition to missing caption details, Google Chrome may even omit some steps from your screen recordings.
Here are two ways to avoid this behavior:
For the best results, use Internet Explorer to record your screencast. It provides the richest data set. (Firefox also works well.)
Edit the captions in Storyline after you've recorded the screencast to include the relevant text.
