Use of lightbox slide and hotspots in quiz question

Sep 01, 2020

Hello, I have a series of quiz questions that use hotspots on screen captures. There is a picture that the user may find helpful when answering the questions (the screen captures settings are basically software settings based on the analysis of a diagnostic image). I thought to add a lightbox slide to help them, if they need to reference the picture when answering the question. The problem is, if the slide is looking for a hotspot input, I can't put another hotspot or object on the screen for anyone to click to open the slide, because if they click on the object or whatever to open the lightbox, they used up one of their chances to answer the question. I hope my dilemma makes sense.

..any suggestions?

Try moving you hotspot or help button to a new layer.  You'll need some variables and a couple of triggers to make it work right.  You'll also need to unhide other layers.
