It is not possible to determine the slides that need to be viewed to mark as complete. You could set up hidden questions that would use a results slide to mark as complete but this is a lot more work instead of using the built in functions
I'm not sure if Periyasamy was referring to locking down the Storyline player menu and adjusting that with a variable - as that would not be possible. You can restrict the menu navigation as described here and these tutorials here will walk you through how to set up a variable. As Phil mentioned, there isn't a built in way to ensure the user visits specific slides, although using some hidden or disguised questions would be the method I would recommend. You could also set it up so that the user has to visit a specific slide as described here.

Hi
Hi Jane,
Yes using variables you can control the slide states.
Note: Should be in force navigation(retracted navigation).
I hope it will help you...
Hi periyasamy Thangaraj
do you have a link or any instructions on how I create the variable?
Jane
