Ok, so I saved a custom slide as a both a theme and a template. I can open "browse for themes", see what i am looking for, open it, see it on the top, then when I apply it's a blank slide. I tried doing the same through the master...My custom theme flashes for a second (tease!) then it goes blank. ??? I know there has got to be a simple solution I am missing... Thanks
Create a "Templates" folder for yourself and keep them in there. You'll have to open them as a new project and then Save As your new project filename rather than having access to your templates from within Storyline.
Or, get IT to open up that directory path for you. They can set permissions at that specific folder only.

Place your .storytemplate file here: C:/Program Files > Articulate > Storyline > Content > Templates
See if that works.
I saw that, but my company computer needs admin rights to do that. Any other way? If not I'll just need someone to give me rights!
