I just found out that you can still buy a perpetual Storyline 3 license. I have been grudgingly paying over $1k annually for my SL360... but with several projects coming up I also need to buy licenses for 2-3 people on my team. Ouch. So, my question is... how interoperable are SL3 and SL360? If I buy perpetual SL3 for each of my team members, can I import their SL3 files into my own SL360 for fine tuning and publishing? Or am I setting myself up for problems? TIA!
There are quite some things that donot work in Storyline3...and are default in Storyline360. But when you know ( and your employees ) what those missing features are... yes, that sure is possible. The other way around...thus when finalized projects in 360...well then it can be impossible to open them properly in Storyline3. I have to admit though that your idea is really brilliant...

SL3 -> SL360: it's with the current version possible, but the way back sometimes not

Thanks! Ultimately, I have decided it would be more trouble than it is worth.
I have a older version of Storyline 3 and Storyline360 uptodate.. if you want to test it with a sample file...
