Using dials on iPad/iPhone - Storyline 3 - latest build

Mar 14, 2019

Got to be something simple but...

i have a simple 3 slide story and everything works on the Mac, windows and on the two iOS devices however rotating a dial on the iOS devices seems quite challenging

it will rotate but it difficult knowing exactly where to touch as on the other computers a little hand appears but not on the iOS devices

I have the previous and next swipes disabled with advance by User - I may try rebuilding with those enabled and see if it makes any difference

has anyone else got any tips?

Hi Leslie,

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know what you are experiencing in your course.

Are you having difficulty rotating the dial or are you stating that it's not intuitive to the learner?

With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.

Update - I enabled swipe left and right but not a good effect as it only
allows me to move the displayed screen left and right, making it impossible
to rotate the dial!

The cursor changes on desktop and laptop displays (built for web html5) and
works on iPad but just too difficult for intended learners
