we have been using Storyline 2 for a couple of years now and are looking to upgrade to Storyline 3.
We use templates for our slides extensively as we tend to create short learning objects - this allows me to keep a consistent look and feel and "plug-in" the types of interaction I need.
So my template file has lots of different slides, interactions, quiz elements etc.
What would I do if I upgraded to Storyline 3? Can I import the template into 3? Should I "upgrade" my storyline 2 templates to 3? Do templates in 3 still work the same way? Could I still use them in my 2 files?
If you upgrade to Storyline 3, you can open those files directly and begin working right away. We'll also create a back up file that you can revert to if you need to continue in Storyline 2 as anything created or edited in Storyline 3 won't be backwards compatible.
