Using Markers with Video Output

I've created a slide with multiple markers on it. It works fine until I publish it to video and then I can't seem to get the markers to work. I thought it might be that I'm stopping the video by selecting a marker so I used the hotspot trick and put this under the markers in the timeline. Again, same results, the markers won't "show".
I published this slide to Articulate 360 and it works fine in this environment. Am I missing some tweak to the slide or maybe markers don't work in video output?
I hope someone has an answer to this as I would like this one-slide video to go out to our Sharepoint intranet. Thank you for your time.

Published Storyline output is a dynamic, interactive entity, much like a board game. A user can change it.
A video is a static presentation, much like a printed book or a movie. The user can start it, or stop it, but they can't change it.
That's what I was afraid of but held out hope that there was a workaround! Thank you for responding.

Hi Sharon! Do you know whether you are using SharePoint Online (the Microsoft 365 hosted edition) or SharePoint server?
If you're using SharePoint Server, you can publish your .story for web. Check with your SharePoint administrator for instructions on how to upload HTML content. Depending on your version of SharePoint, you may need to switch to "explorer view" before uploading content, or you may need to "check in" content after uploading it. Your administrator will know for sure.
