Using motion paths on exit and animations on entrance

Hi,

I am trying to make a conveyor belt effect where one picture exits the screen left as another one enters form right (on the click of an arrow).

My first slide has worked, I have set up a triggers when the user clicks the arrow which show the next layer and make one picture exit left (following a motion path) and another one enter from right (following an animation). However, I have done exactly the same triggers on my next layer and its not working correctly, rather than my picture exiting left it just disappears.

All triggers are in the same order as before and there doesn't seem any differences I can spot.

Can anyone help?

Thank you so much for your help :)

I was actually looking to get the images to only show once. Currently the original image re appears again when you click the arrow for the second time and image 2 does not fly out it disappears.

I have messed around with it so much and it looks like my triggers only work on the base layer and not the individual layers.
